Dear Abby

Dear Abby,

I’m so overwhelmed with AP testing and finals coming up so soon and I don’t know how to control my stress. It’s starting to become too much to handle. How do I deal with all of this stress?

Dear Anonymous,

I completely understand all of the stress that you’re facing with your exams. The best thing to do is to take a deep breath and try to remember that it’s just a test and everything will be okay. Keep in mind that your grades and test scores do not define who you are as a person! Rest up, study as much as you can before you get too overwhelmed, and eat a good breakfast! I promise it will be so much better than you expect. Good luck!

Dear Abby,

I have no idea what to do this summer, but I don’t want to be bored at home the whole time. What do I do?

Dear Anonymous,

I completely understand how easy it is to be bored over the summer and feel like you have absolutely nothing to do. There is
always family vacations or road trips with friends if possible! You could find a summer camp about something that you enjoy, volunteer somewhere, or get a job if you don’t have one already. The hot weather calls for lots of swimming so you can go to a community pool with your friends or family, or just swim in your backyard if you have a pool. Throw a pool party or a get together for the 4th of July! There are many things to do over the summer, and those are just a few. Take the summer to have a blast and relax! Have a great time!
